Kittens

Kittens are good. We are in favor of kittens.
We think everyone should have a kitten. Here's
what you need to know to make your kitten experience
a good kitten experience.
Having a kitten is a lot of fun, especially if you enjoy
things that purr, pounce, and snooze. Seriously, a
new kitten can be a real source of joy. Like most
good things, however, owning a kitten comes with a
price: The obligation to take care of
your kitten's needs. Fortunately, kittens don't
need very much. Just good food, shelter, love,
discipline, and some basic health care needs.
You are in charge of the food, shelter, love, and
discipline. We will take care of the health needs.
Most of the time, we will need to see a kitten three
times the first year. During the three visits, we
will evaluate your kitten's health, growth, and devopment. We will administer the vaccines he or
she so vitally needs. And we will talk about
various health topics as we go. The three most
important things you can do for your kitten is to get
the vaccinations done, get them done on time, and to get
them done correctly. The first vaccinations need
to be given at 8 weeks of age, and will cost around $55
to $60, depending on how old your kitten actually is and
what vaccines need to be given.
We follow the new AAFP vaccination guidelines.
This means that we use some different vaccines and give
them less often than in the past.

We have three e-handouts, one for each kitten visit.
