What is Sunnyside Vet Clinic doing about COVID-19?
We would like to let each of our customers know that we are doing everything we can to help minimize the exposure of the novel coronavirus at our vet clinic.
Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic is still open during this time and we are available to help your pets in their time of need.
We are a low-risk environment. We only have a staff of 5, we see patients by appointment only so that the waiting area is not crowded, and we know all about disinfecting for infectious diseases.
If you would prefer to wait in your car, just check in briefly and we will text you when it is time to come in.
We are taking extra precautions and ask that each of you help us in our efforts by:
-
Limiting the number of people that come in with each pet. If possible, we ask that only one person comes in with each pet to keep our office from becoming crowded.
-
Wearing a mask if you are showing any upper respiratory symptoms like coughing, sneezing, running nose, etc. If you don’t have one, just ask. We have plenty!
-
Using hand sanitizer before and after opening the doors, signing paperwork, etc.
The CDC has put out some great resources for minimizing and preventing the spread of this virus:
Each of our staff members is aware of these recommendations and we will be following the CDC’s guidelines to keep our facility as clean as possible to avoid spreading the disease.
